If you first work for years to destroy all that is good about religion and America, but don't replace it with any set of rules to help young people set their moral compass you get what we have today. I think that it is by design and not accident. I think that the elites (who ever they are) have worked to destroy America. Propping up feminism, pushing no respect for elders, ripping fathers out of homes, RAP music, etc.

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

2 Timothy 3:1-7

It doesn’t take much to shift a perspective. Place a little doubt at a time and wallah, in a short period of time things are changed.
Create a narrative that supports the new perspective and the shift is complete.

Once again doesn’t take much, just the correct persuasion.

Since USAID got squashed, rap music hasn’t been in the top charts. You can thank the government.

The biggest problem I see is ignoring the 800 pound gorilla in the room. Jeff Foxworthy commented on you can make fun of every religion but the Muslims. He done a spinoff of you might be a redneck with one you might be a Muslim. It is hilarious but they will probably put out a bounty on him. That is not the only room with gorillas in it.Before I retired we would have to go to diversity training classes. They turned the gorillas loose on us to teach us to not offend them

Calling attention to the gorilla’s size isn’t very “body positivity” of you. That 800 pounds is stunning and brave.

I check myself when I begin to think that "Christians" have the moral high ground over anyone. I have been to many different countries, I have worked with lots of people in engineering, Muslims, Hindus, Chinese atheists and I have met many of those people. Many I have befriended and I have I felt I could always count on them to "do the right thing" regardless of their religious or non-religious affiliation.

Our youngest Irish Jr. is an agnostic, meaning he's not an atheist, but he is a seeker for the truth and just hasn't settled on it yet. All our other children are Christians and yet he is the one we can always count on to do the right thing. His current girlfriend and probably soon to be our daughter in law is Chinese. Born and raised under Communism and never exposed to Western Style Christianity like all of us have, so she is an Atheist from birth. She is an extremely kind, loving an very moral person. I will welcome her into our family when and if that time comes.

On the other hand I have met lots of "Christians" in my lifetime, including some very religious "Christians" who have been some of the worst people I have ever known. People that had some of the worst situational ethics you could ever imagine. Perhaps some Christians think they get a pass and they can do the wrong thing when the situation suits them because they are forgiven.

Christianity has no monopoly on morality. What we have is Grace, Mercy and Forgiveness through faith and acceptance in God's Grace through Jesus Christ's ultimate sacrifice. That's what we need to understand... God asks us to be humble in our faith.

Micah 6:8 "He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God"

James 4:6 and 1 Peter 5:5 both quote Proverbs 3:34 to share the exact same core truth: "God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble." Both New Testament passages use this shared Old Testament principle to teach that pride invites God's resistance, while humility opens the door to His unearned favor and help.

This makes me think of, if something is stated over and over again via different avenues, it is viewed as it must be the truth. Add some pictures/videos and bam. 100% American media and social media, case in point. "Well it was on the news!"

Irish just because a person says he is a Christian does not make them one. The Bible says you will become a new creature. Not perfect but striving to be. I also have had experiences working for people claiming to be Christians. As I heard a pastor say one time your life and your checkbook will tell where your heart is. Also there is a difference in not being a Christian and being an Antichrist not the but a. I will stop there because these discussions always go off the rail. Jesus is the high ground. Not any man and surely not Mohamed

If we look back, some of the people who shaped and wrote the Bible had their faults and would be judged as horrible people. David committed adultery and had a man killed to cover it up, yet he is referred to as being a man after God's own heart. Solomon lived an extravagant life and messed around with thousands of women but is known as one of the wisest men to live and wrote Proverbs. Paul, to put it bluntly, was a murderer of Christians but he accounts for 13 books of the New Testament.

Yep. To put it in today's terms, they are "identifying" as one.
