On a positive note...
I get my first Social Security Check next month and thanks to Silver Sneakers I get free gym membership... Woot! You may see some drug co-pays go to 0 and others drop , depending which Medicare supplemental plan you have. I take allergy injections , I pay 0 for the serum and injections now.

You consistently have to be careful you don’t sit on your own testicles. At the risk of committing a TMI foul.....at least once/week, I accidentally kick myself in the balls putting on underwear after a shower.....pull them up one leg to about knee-high then "kick" the other foot up to put the other leg in. If I'm in a rush and not being careful.... *bam*....heel to the nuts

Reading glasses located in each room. Thinking ahead on a task and ask: "now when I get down on a knee, what tools/supplies will I need so I don't have to get up". The knee question is easy for me. Both of mine are garbage (even the new one) so getting on the knee, or knees, is totally out of question. I can sit down or lay down. If I’m planning to lay down I plan ahead for something to help me get back up.
I hate making a good first impression. There’s no way I can keep that shit up.

Yeah our insurance is getting a lot better. I'm going from a Pre-65 retirement company insurance plan that is a $6k deductible plan to a company Medicare advantage plan that has zero copay for prescriptions and $5 to $10 medical copays, and the cost is about the same for the plan.

When you get up every morning hurt from arthritis between 2-4 . Just called sports med to schedule wrist surgery so i know when I can get my neck injections scheduled. No country for old men

I remember seeing my dad fall more and more. Now I’m just getting started That is the worst for me - I used to have amazing balance and never fell. At 62-yrs, I have gotten so clumsy I am sometimes afraid of heights that would have NEVER bothered me in the past.

When You have programmed yourself to Just Fall correctly instead of trying to catch yourself !! Trying to catch yourself does Way more harm - it's better if you turn your body to absorb the fall !!
I learned this years ago because I have bad shoulders (4 surgeries- both have be replaced) but not this year because hunting season is Close !!

I remember seeing my dad fall more and more. Now I’m just getting started I've been in a little bit of denial about my balance lately. Recently bought some new Hoka shoes that have very plush cushioning soles and I've been blaming them for causing me to stagger a little bit sideways sometimes. It's not the shoes.
