In roughly 20 years of the Vietnam war we lost about 47,434 troops. That is just a bad month in Ukraine these days. I'm not sure Western civilization is psychologically prepared for a drone war.

I try not to post a lot of random videos on here, but I was watching this one today, because the subject matter is interesting to me. Boho went out shopping so I cracked a cold one this afternoon and watched this. It is done by DW News. It is a German news organization and I find them to be very fair. They do very good documentaries in English. I find most of them to be a good watch.

Interesting. Listened to an in depth video from Sandboxx News today on the subject. It's got it's place. But not as big a game changer as some would like to make it out to be.

If we're not going to do the right thing which is nuke them back to the dark ages (and we're not for whatever reasons) can't we locate leaders and their families and turn them into pink mist? We could drop micro drones over China carrying a few ounces of C4 and have them blow up in the faces of anyone that looks Chinese. No body needs to control them. That is with no real AI.

the video is well done, coming at the issue from so many angles. I could have read the script in 5 minutes. the most interested point is that of the massive amount of investment money in play. gotta wonder how much of that money is invested in anti-drone research ...

I know a computer engineer for Raytheon. What concerns him the most is how easy it would be to equip a bunch of best buy drones and send them into a football game, amusment park or any other gathering. Its getting crazy for sure.

Somebody will eventually do it. Let's hope that when it does happen, that it happens in another country first. I could see a European soccer game getting hit within the year.

I have thought the same exact thing - strap a fragmentation grenade, program the coordinates, let them fly from several miles away. It is truly scary to me what a crazy person might do.

That would be very easy and cheap to do.
