I guess there’s a lotta bad about cameras being everywhere today but when you read all the stories about crimes solved and insurance fraud being proven including workman’s comp and ssi disability, stolen property recovered just from people being on camera every living moment, it’s makes you kinda wonder if it couldn’t be a good thing if it had limits.
I see stories everywhere nowadays that you never woulda heard about in years past just because people don’t always think about the fact that so much is being recorded.
I saw where a guy got hammered by the government for supposedly being completely disabled and getting check from 2-3 different places as well as other lawsuits he’d settled because of supposed injuries and they used videos from different places showing it was all BS.

Another guy got 30 years and ordered to pay millions back to the VA because he was supposedly 100% P%T disabled but had a YouTube channel advertising his personal trainer services and working out with as much as 600 pounds in different ways after claiming that he couldn’t lift 10 pounds without being in extreme pain, that’s a whole new level of stupidity

Ring door bells alone completely changed property crime rates after being out for awhile.
I’m not sure how I feel about flock cameras in most cases but the sheer number of children they have saved has to give them some value.

I saw one article where an insurance company had asked for and received a bunch of ring footage from people in a guys neighborhood and used them as evidence proving that his work comp claim was a fraud,

We got a wrecker in pretty much the same shape it left in after having video of it being stolen and the police being able to track it from the time it left the shop to within blocks of where it was recovered.

I guess everything has its good and bad
