The I-12 / I-10 corridor from Slidell to Orange TX is the absolute worst I’ve ever experienced. They have 3 and 4 lanes most of the way but then sumbitches will get side by side and drive 60 mph blocking every fucking lane.

I drove on the Autostrade (Interstate) in Northern Italy last month. People would pass slower traffic and get back over in the right lane. When you ran up somebody in the left lane going slower than you, they usually hoped over in the right lane once they saw you. It worked the way its supposed to. Big cities with heavy traffic was just like it is here.

When I drove a 3/4 ton pickup back in my youth, I strongly considered taking the front bumper off and replacing it with a railroad tie so I could move people out of my way.

The worst is I40 between Memphrica and Little Rock. I drive that about twice a week and it is absolutely the worst stretch I've travelled and I've made some sketchy trips all over the world. ICE could make a heavy dent arresting foreign truckers along that stretch. If you drive it after dark you'd think Arkansas must have a law against trailer lights.

The worst is I40 between Memphrica and Little Rock. My ex is from Arkansas and we were traveling that stretch back and forth to come down here for holidays from 1980 until we moved down here in 87. They were working on it then.

Worst traffic I have ever dealt with was I-5, I-10, and I-405 coming North from Anaheim, CA to Beverly Hills, CA. It is 30 some odd miles of pure Hell in normal everyday driving evening traffic when we came thru there. It will wear you out dealing with that mess. We were just on vacation then but no way would I live anywhere with traffic like that.
