I have a bowtech icon bow. Currently have a 4 pin sight( only use 3) but want to try a single pin sight this year. They seem to be all over the place regarding price. Looking for suggestions. Normal hurting is 20-40 yards.

I've used several, just pick one and try. Doesn't need to be the highest option one. Just practice and put sight tapes accordingly.
Love a good hunting story, love my family and friends. Some people you can't, but acted like do.

I used a Black Gold single pin for years and really enjoyed it.

What’s your price range?

I would like to keep it under the cost of the bow- 200 or so. I dont want to get something that may fail during a hunt. I really had no idea the crazy price differences- Ive seen them from 100 to 500 for a .sight Im going to the bow shop Friday and see what they recommend. I currently have 2 pins- one out to25 and the a 35 pin. May just stay with that. The idea of being able to shoot father is appealing but I seldom get a clear shot over 35 yards. We are planning an Indiana hunt this fall so maybe I need a new sight.??

I love the 2 pin sight. Top pin is set. I set mine at 20 yds. My second pin is adjustable and I usually have it set at 30 yds. If I need more than 30, I just turn the knob to whatever I need. 2 pins covers just about everything. If I need 40, then I turn the knob. I guess you could set one pin at 30 and consciously hold under at 20 and over at 40.

Keith Most here use Black gold ascent verdict sights myself included and Spot Hogg, most down there tend to use HHA. It's a fanboy thing for some and the known fact they're simply good sights to others. I will say, the elk hunting on the coast here with dense forest tests your gear and I've never had a sight failure through the beating it's taken. I have single pin for elk, 3 pin for whitetail.
