Very young and small, my dad switched guns from a browning a5 3 inch with a man were hunting with for a 2-34 inch Remington 1100. At Harris Creek Hunting Club, in Clarke County Alabama. Dog drive, my Dad handed me the shotgun, laid back, and said wake me when the meats on the ground. Wasn't 5 minutes later a big doe ran up and stopped. I shot her at around 15 yards. Daddy jumped up thinking I had accidentally pulled the trigger. He grabbed that 1100 from me like I stole it. I pointed at the doe laying there and we started celebrating!!! Will never forget it...
Love a good hunting story, love my family and friends. Some people you can't, but acted like do.
