I actually have that. At both houses.

Found them all in thrift stores for just a few dollars.

Always been fascinated by books since I was a kid. In the summers growing up in east Birmingham I would either be at Wahouma park playing baseball, Cascade Plunge swimming, East Lake fishing or at East Lake library trying to win the summer reading contest.

That's a strange deflection and not at all the point I was making. Once a book is digitized, AI can manipulate it anytime it wants to reflect any narrative it wants to push in real time. That is not the case with a physical copy.

For decades, liberals have been teaching their version of history in any setting that gathers an audience. Digitize the real/documented world history, destroy the source and modify it at will/as necessary for the desired end result. That's their dream come true.

Holy Shit! I know exactly where all that is. Been at all those places many times.

I'll have to take a look or take a picture when I get back to the cabin. I have books on all kinds of subject from cabin building, to golf, to fishing, to novels, war, westerns, religion, how do do stuff, etc... I even have book called "The Anarchist's Cookbook" It's all about how to wage a subversive war of attrition against a superior force. It's filled with stuff like how to built booby traps and molotov cocktails, etc...

You know Bubba or Kim Renfro or Joey Youngman? Joey had this badass Kawasaki Z1 900. We used to all ride dirt bikes up behind there all back in there where the quarry is. I think it's all Ruffner Mountain Nature Preserve now. Lots of old iron ore mines back up in there and that big limestone quarry.

There used to be the little burger joint tucked back up in East Lake. It has a little counter where yo sat and watched them cook your burger. They made the best smash burgers back in the day.

I am am older than you , don't remember those names. The burger place was T&R's Snack Shop on 2nd Ave and 83rd St run by Tricia Thomas. Her husband, Ray; was my church league basketball coach. I worked at Egg A Day on 77th/Oporto- Madrid Blvd. I began hunting on Ruffner Mountain when we moved closer to Rugby Ave in my teens. Squirrels, rabbits, chipmunks, whatever moved Shot doves in the biggest of the 3 quarries. Rode dirt bikes all over that place; could get on a dirt road near the tracks under Oporto near the Dolly Madison outlet and go all the way to Sadlers Gap on Highway 11 near Trussville without touching a paved road. Plan to go hike the Nature Preserve this fall; will bring memories. Simple times, Good times.
BTW; those Z1 900's bring big money now.

I appreciate that! If SHTF, it would be nice to have a lot of books just for entertainment. Now, The Anarchist's Cookbook, that might come in handy sooner than later.
