In my 2024 several months a rock came off a truck pulling a trailer. Sounded like a baseball hitting the windshield right in front of the windshield. No damage nothing. Last month going down the road and no other vehicle near me. Something hits the passenger side that sounded so lite it could have been a CB penny flipped on it. Chipped I went and paid 60 bucks at a place in Boaz that drilled it out put a filler in. Said prevent any spreading. I bet windshields have become like body metal has a lot thinner. Wife has had 3 windshields replaced. Owner of windshield place said he has never replaced so many windshields. Said they are thinner and a different angle for aerodynamics. They are expensive
