We do. The navy is falling further behind by the month. The existing yards cannot seem to get anything out on time or on budget.

Either way, another yard can help get things on track with volume alone.

I KNOW the navy brass are a lot of the reason. They can't not fuck the contracts up. Too many changes and too many cancelled contracts means China has outpaced us on numbers if not tonnage.

Sandboxx news covers these issues in depth. For shits sake. We are having to use Coast Guard models because we can't produce a destroyer. It's a flippin boondoggle. If Trump is trying to correct it, then even idiots like JM should be applauding it. But can't because the derangement is too strong.
