Boho and I are going to have to give the best pizza award in Gulf Shores to... Drum roll please... Tuscany. It's really close between a bunch of them, but the pizza at Tuscany is simply the best crust, the best ingredients, the best cooking method, and the best restaurant ambiance. They even had a fully stocked, real bar in there, not to mention all the other great Italian dishes to choose from as well. It's the whole package. Full stop right here and let me explain something... Pizza is not a big ass pile of topping with some kind of thin bread underneath it to serve it on. Pizza is really great bread, artfully baked, with some stuff on it. We had salads, I had a Fairhope IPA on draft, and we had the pizza with all the meat on it. It was fantastic! We had to try it again just to make sure of our decision. An absolutely wonderful crust that was entirely hand crafted, nice bite to it, thick on the ends, but still super light and airy, and with a nice crunch, with little toasty bits bursting forth, and a great flavor all its own. I could have just smeared some garlic butter on it and it would have been great. She is kickin' ass in the gym. She gets asked all the time, "Is he your personal trainer." She's like, "No, He's my husband." And their like, "Well, he sure is working you very hard."  We only ate about half the pizza BTW. The other 4 pieces are in the fridge. We both ate salads first to help us fill up.

I am T R Y I N G to lose weight! However, I am not watching the diet like I should... it's like I can't be bothered. Because, I LOVE pizza and there's plenty of good pizza down here and I LOVE burgers! I do not sound like a very health conscious person, do I?
Behind the scenes I'm eating cottage cheese, tuna salad, chicken salad, thalad and proteins of all sources. But those two above... they are my masters.
