They own our Public Service Commission and we are one of the only few states that does not require a formal rate inquiry process which means we don't know the details of their rates or their proposed rate increases. The legislature gutted the bill and removed the requirement for formal rate hearings. The changes in that bill were window dressing designed by APC.
