How do you handle this:
- Wait and see what happens (prices will drop like a rock in ~6 months)
- Jump in ASAP and hope if they change things you will be grandfathered in
I'll buy a suppressor the day they are hanging in a blister pack, on a peg, somewhere between the slings and recoil pads, for < $100. It's a "want", not a "need"
They’ve quickly moved into the need category. There’s no reason to blow your ears up every time you shoot a deer. They’re worth every penny.
Once you get a suppressor, you'll understand the need for one.
I let the paperwork, wait time and possible government intrusion deter me from buying one for many years. Bad mistake. Ive got three cans now and will buy more of them, sooner if this ruling stands.
From now on, any new rifle I buy will be set up for suppressor use. Ive got all the parts for a new rifle build to take to the gunsmith this week and I'll only run it suppressed. Just need to find a reamer for a 7-300 PRC.
