The beef has to get across the border. Trump allowed Argentine beef to be able to come here legally. Why would they be smuggling in, something he said was ok? It has to get from there to here, therfore crossing the border he said was secured. You are correct about us products being recalled, which just further shows the incompetence of the usda! 15 tons of beef! It wasnt recalled for being bad, it was recalled because it was smuggled in with proper inspections. And this is just what they found out about that got by them!
Sorry Cowboy but this has nothing to do with a secured border as the phrase has been used in the past. The beef did not get "smuggled" in, it was known to come in hence the recall. The way you are putting it makes it sound like it made it here unknown to anyone like a drug shipment. Where the ball was dropped was by the USDA because it was overlooked in the re-inspection process.
