Like it or not, everyone in Washington is on the take, in one way or another. Some are just worse and more blatant about it than others. 338 is probably onto something. They probably threatened him and told him if he didnt sit down and recuse himself, they'd go after his family for insider trading, campaign finance violations, etc. I'm certain that they had something on him or his family members, because he folded like a wet noodle right out of the gate, and up until then, that was not in his nature.
