I just keep to myself these days. It’s easier that way. Sucks at times but it’s easier. This is my life. It is so hard to make friends at this stage of life. I block out time, they cancel. My life exactly. I got tired of blocking out time so I just decided to stop reaching out at all and see who would reach out to me and how long it would take. 10 months. A group of guys I thought were dear friends, it took 10 months for one to finally notice. That’s pretty much what pulled me away from church too. “F” it. It is what it is. I certainly understand that. Relationships are a two way street. i find the more I put into relationships the more I get out of them. There are certainly instances where that doesn't happen. That's why unfortunately we have relatives and friends that we rarely associate with.
