Columbia had a big long rolling earthquake today. 7.4. https://x.com/HorizonWireHW/status/2086836344484216992Like Venezuala it did big damage but the deathtoll may not be as bad. It was in a less populated area. The video in that link shows numerous building collapses.

Yeh, the extended damage across the region may end up with a similar death toll to VZ. Its like it hit Clanton but damaged everything from H-ville to Mobile.

Some of the best pot on the planet used to show up in Arab, Alabama through some myriad of connected folks from Columbia. Wasn't always available but when it hit at $200 a pound in 1978, everything got pawned to get that pound. A dang good crew of 4, Cigar Morrow, Niggerhead and 2 friends, got hit for reasons unknown to most of us to this day but local law enforcement is still the most suspected bunch. Anyway, earthquakes are a terrible thing, especially the long rollers (I was in one) but Columbian pot used to be the best at any price

That is crazy. The epicenter was san jose, 250 miles from where that video was filmed in Bogota!

Our next door neighbor is from Columbia. She was able to get in touch with her mom but her uncle and several cousins are unaccounted for. It’s bad.
