2) Density, height, and species composition of understory vegetation We could really add to number #2……..Vegetation accounts for a lot of the ground structure in many areas but something else that adds to that structural component of the understory as well are things like all of those rocks in the mountains of Jackson Co……Tree blowdowns would be another type of ground structure that’s very prevalent ……Maybe we should just call it all "understory structure"
