Can clethodium & butyrac be & sprayed on clover plots at the same time? What clover safe herbicide do you guys recommend for spraying plots in late summer ?

I’ve had very poor results mixing them in the same tank, even at the recommended rates. I’d spray them separately for the most efficient control. Clethodim works best on young grasses, but can still be effective on some mature grass.

From what I understand is cleth takes crop oil as a surfactant and when you mix crop oil with butyrac it’s going to have a much better chance of penetrating the clover and burning it.

Clethedium alone did pretty good last year in killing everything but the clover for me - that is all feed store said to use but sounds like I could be more effective adding the other possibly

Tdog if you got broadleaf weeds in there it will usually get them.
