I had a double first cousin that had two sons and they both call me Uncle Bobby.exactly what kin are they? I am proud they both think that much of me 👍🙏

I think that’s first cousin once removed (different generation). Grew up calling my parent’s favorite cousins Aunt and Uncle too.

I call them 2nd cousins from a technical standpoint but there are your nephews from your heart's standpoint.

Same in our family. Brother and sister from one family married brother and sister from another (that always has to be orated when “double first” comes up, being from Miss’ippi!). In my case they are double second cousins. I’m a grandkid kid.

The lady my great grandpa married had a brother who married my ggranpa’s sister. Not a case of cross-pollination but I bet it was interesting at get togethers because they were both named Annie. They just swapped last names.
