Personally, I don't think they do but hope they do. With the technology available today, and all the public and private research grants that have been doled out in the last 20 years, one of these things likely has happened:
- they're extinct but folks still are looking in the big tracts
- they exist, and researchers have STFU about it to study and minimize disturbances
- "believed to exist" so the research goes on
They're the flying version of the black panther. People swear they have seen or heard one, and yet no legit evidence exists.
