I saw a clip of Jesse Watters two days ago where he mentioned that Trump isn't happy about transit fees, but knows they may have to stand to make the deal work. Watters then went on to justify it by saying that paying transit fees is actually standard practice in other major global straits and canals. After hearing that, and now seeing this Reuters article come out, I lean toward thinking it is true. I am also seeing that the shipping industry says it will not go along with this, so who knows?
