I’m for as little oversight as possible. But it seems the nature of a lot of people is to get away with as much as they can. That doesn’t matter what nationality. When it comes to food which is a necessity, there is going to have to be some oversight. You have to be realistic in your view. I’m sure it could be better and most likely streamlined, but that’s a different topic. Strictly a guess here but I would bet that there have been food borne illnesses that were based out of the USA. The point you make , is correct, but proves my point even more. You have no idea where your food comes from. Boars head poisoned a buch of people too. They were heavily inspected by usda right here in the usa. Turns out one of the big problems there were they were either paid off, or incompetent. Either way not relay needed!
