Thanks for the kind comments guys.
We have been through some serious challenges with a few of our kids, our oldest son dying, all of our parents dying, financial challenges, some health scares, but despite those setbacks we have somehow managed to thrive. Our strong faith in God has pulled us through. The Lord has blessed us way more than we deserve. The fact that we are best friends and both have a good sense of humor has allowed us to skip over the rough patches and really relish in the smooth ones.
We did our normal gym routine this morning, maybe hit the beach or the pool for a while today. Usually we cook lamb chops at home for these kinds of things, but tonight I'm taking her to Jessie's on the Bay for some good eats. Boho really likes that place.

You told me that I'd have to pay this time because I just got my SS check! Thank you guys for the sweet comments. We're living some kinda crazy fantasy. This is a reflective day for me because looking back over photos and seeing the memories... it's hard to believe it's been 18 years on one hand. On the other, I've lived a whole lifetime in 18 years with a man that I could not possibly adore and love any more than I do today! Blessed & grateful beyond any words I could utter.
