My arthritis dr office asked me to come 30 min early for some new paperwork to fill out. I told her I would have plenty of time while I was waiting on them.
My wife took me to the emergency em because my chest hurt. Told the dyke looking dr I had already ruled out heart attack. She asked how I ruled out heart attack I told her because I didn’t die in the waiting room.

I had a first the other day. My youngest dog had an appointment with the vet for vaccines, and first off I'm not used to appointments for the vet. In Selma it was just show up and dropped off and came back later, but anyways after waiting a little bit with a waiting room that was getting crowded, one of the workers came out and explained that the vets were tied up on an emergency that came in and said it would be awhile so we could wait or just leave the dogs and they would call us when they are ready. I chose option #2. Worked out great other than I missed the lecture about my year old Dachshund is getting too fat, but I already knew that.
Anyways, I thought it would be cool if we could just drop off our sick bodies at the Dr's office and come back later to pick up. I have been waiting at a Dr's office somewhere, I think it was B'ham with Dr. Grayson Rodgers who is reported to be the top guy in the Southeast on the type of tumor I had, when one of the staff came out and said they were an hour or more behind if we wanted to reschedule or leave and come back in a couple of hours. Since we drove 100 miles to be there I didn't want to reschedule and do it again so we went to The Fish Market and had a good leisurely lunch so it worked out fine. I wish more Dr. offices were that considerate of our time. In the last few years, I've had to see a lot of Drs and the ones up here in Huntsville have been as good as any about being on time. Kudos to the Spine center and the Cardiologist for that.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I don't think I have ever waited longer than 5-10 minutes for my PCP at UAB; he is good. He or his PA/NP answer all portal messages in less than 24 hours. UAB is a different ballgame altogether compared to Dr's in Montgomery. I've always been pleased at UAB I sat and watched several cardiologist argue over my dads heart rate etc….. They made him stay 2 nights to figure it out while the entire time his cardiologist back home kept explaining dad’s situation as normal for him. He made it to 86 and his heart didn’t give up

And that’s why the democratic Marxist churn out all the distrust and misinformation they can. They know how to manipulate and do so accordingly. Predictability is our strongest weakness A little discourse goes a long wayn

There's a few on here that should burn that into their brains.
"Why do you ask"?
Too many people spend money they don't have , on things they don't need, to impress people they don't know.

And just like that, a thread about waiting at the doctor's office is starting to devolve into a political thread. Y'all just can't help yourselves.

We could shift this discussion to dog hunting if it makes you feel better. 🤷♂️
I hate making a good first impression. There’s no way I can keep that shit up.

We could shift this discussion to dog hunting if it makes you feel better. 🤷♂️ Actually it would. Let's see......... I had an appointment at the vet for my Corgi the other day. I sat there an hour and a half past the appointment time because there was a deer dog hunter in there with his whole pack of hounds, getting them vaccinated for distemper and having their nails clipped. He had 12 of those suckers and they all needed a bath! Anyhow, if they would outlaw all those deer doggers, I wouldn't have to wait at the vet's office so long. I'm bringing it up for the CAB. I've had enough of these outlaws!!

Thankfully they are no longer a problem around here. But I still have flashbacks from my PDDHHS (Post Deer Dog Hunter Hatred Syndrome). Occasionally we get a straggler through here but if I get the crosshairs on em, problem solved.

That PDDHHS is a hard one to shake. It can takes months, if not years of intense therapy and flashbacks are still common after that.
