I'll say the same thing I said during COVID, if you don't trust your doctor, you need to find a new one. I live 200 miles away and still see my old doctor in Selma. If I need something urgent I have probably a dozen or so Urgent Care places close to me. They all advertise that they also do primary care, but you never know who is going to see you. My mother in law, who lives with us, sees the same doctor in Selma that I do. She's down there this week for an appointment. Someone asked my wife the other day why MIL still goes to Selma for appointments and I said "The same reason I do, we trust Dr. Burns". He's been really good to us and often we can deal with prescription stuff over the phone. Yes, he'll actually call you back. I have his home and personal cell number. Of course, I don't call him unless it is non work related or something easy to handle, but needs to be handled soon.
I used to have the best mechanic in Selma that I trusted completely. A good trusted mechanic is a blessing. He passed away right before we moved (RIP Alan). A good trusted doctor is like a good trusted mechanic, both are invaluable when our vehicles and our bodies get older.
