We lost all the corn in the low places here in Jackson County back in June. Sprayed over 30 acres Monday to plant Japanese millet. It will be a throw and mow deal. Last year was a wet year so I had to plant a lot this way. It turned out good. Shore did want corn this year maybe next year. How are your fields doing?

I don't have any fields of my own anymore but you should be good spreading on the mud flats.

I got about 11 acres planted yesterday by throw and mow. Hopefully get more done than that today. Got most of the lower ground planted. Sheared more bushhog bolts than I ever have

I'm gonna need GPS coordinates so I can check them out in December. You know, just to make sure you got them planted properly. grin

If I’m not mistaken the deer hunting now is reserved for the 6 yearly memberships they have. But it sure would be nice to do that.

They send me emails about upcoming season. Seems like a PITA and expensive as I remember you had to reserve the hotel room then coordinate with duck hunting guides. This year they sent me something about applying for a lottery for duck dates. That’s too complicated and too much money for me. It’s like the other Orvis duck lodge Heartland in IL. High falutin expensive places. rofl Lord willing I’ll get to kill some ducks and geese next year at my friend’s new house in AR.

I think it’s around $300k for a duck/deer membership. Riley Green, trump jr, the Robertsons have memberships there if I’m not mistaken.

Honey Brake sent you that? I know the guy that runs the lodge, none of that sounds right. You don’t have to coordinate nothing but the payment lol
