As a former bike shop employee those stereotypes are valid. Except for bar hopper guy who comes in for an oil change since it's been 12 months and he's put a grand total of 119 miles from bars to home in those 12 months. Ride leader guy who shows up two months before ride for tires brakes oil change and his 17 riding buddies who want the same 4 days before the ride. *Warning Harley Davidson Triggering* "Performance HD guy" who has every chrome Screaming Eagle upgrade available can quote cam sized compression ratios ad nauseum....has never been past 50 mph on his bike. Sleeper guy has a soft gray or light blue Harley whose on his fourth engine because he has spent the money and been to track days and will take Performance HD guys money. Old Goldwing guy who needs his second set of tires this summer has ordered tires himself shows up with tires pays cash upfront and buys lunch for the shop because he knows it's going to be awhile.
