Long ago chasing the perfect gun 3 of us had our SBEs worked on by Angle Porting in arkie.
Every little bit helps but it’s gonna depend on the gun. Like mentioned, chrome lined barrels won’t need it some rusty barrels might.
A clean barrel will do better than a dirty one but you’ll be picking nits more than increasing lethality
