They send me emails about upcoming season. Seems like a PITA and expensive as I remember you had to reserve the hotel room then coordinate with duck hunting guides. This year they sent me something about applying for a lottery for duck dates. That’s too complicated and too much money for me. It’s like the other Orvis duck lodge Heartland in IL. High falutin expensive places.  Lord willing I’ll get to kill some ducks and geese next year at my friend’s new house in AR. Well heck, I just hope I have some water in some wood duck holes, down here in God’s Country!
