There is no doubt Whitetail Inst. seeds are great seeds and really do a good job for deer and turkeys, but their prices are just so high when you are a club in Ala. and have a big number of green fields to plant. Same said for minerals. If they could ever find a way to get there costs in line with other great seeds, like WMS or Buck Busters seed, they would certainly be the brand to go to. I was talking to one of their reps who is a biologist and he recommended gobble grunt mix…I checked the price and about fell over with how much it cost to plant an acre of it. Same with vitalize seed as you better pay to play

WMS and Buck Buster's seed are high, but are somewhat reasonable. Another good seed mixes are Southern Seed and Feed blends of seed. They are good blends and cost much less than WMS or BB.
