I've seen some posts on here about folks taking peptides. I know nothing about them other than they are supposed to be amino acids. This is oddly the first place that I have ever even heard of them. Anyway... This popped up on my news feed this morning and it certainly sounded concerning... https://www.cbsnews.com/news/peptides-seller-prison-sentence-unapproved-drugs/For those that take them what's the deal?

I don’t take them, but they tell the cells what to do. Ie peptides tell the cells to fix damage, stop or start processes. Insulin is a peptide.

They are smaller versions of proteins. Where proteins have about 50 amino acids, peptides have only about 20 amino acids.
Depends on what you are looking for. Some act like hormones, others are neurotransmitters. There are others that help with tissue repair and immune response.
GLP-1 mimic your gut hormones BPC 157 improves blood flow to get more oxygen and nutrients to damaged tissue.
There's a long list of peptides. Copper for skin. Growth hormones for aging. The list is long.

My son is far more knowledgeable about them than I am.
What I can tell you, is he got me a one time setup, took a few weeks of injecting every day.
My right shoulder was hurting so bad it would nearly bring me to tears by end of a work day.
Couldn't use it much at all.
I really couldn't tell it was doing much for a while. I guess it's been 4 months now since the last dose.
Didn't think about it at all, not once, until I saw this post. I've been operating pain free in that shoulder for months now.
Can't say how long because when it's not hurting I'm not thinking of it. But I can definitively say I was destined for surgery and now I'm not. No pain or loss of strengthy/function at all.
Character is not developed in moments of temptation and trial. That is when it is intended to be used.

I took Bpc157/TB500 just after back surgery. Good for recovery and tissue regrowth.
All the GLP weight loss drugs are peptides. Ozempic-peptide
I am also using CJC with DAC it helps with recovery, sleep and muscle development via GHRH Also taking AOD which helps with belly fat.

I guess when this becomes more mainstream, they will charge a lot of money for it. How old are you? I assume you weight train? How long have you been doing the CJC-1295 with the DAC? I had to do some reading on those to understand what they did. All I've ever done is creatine and organic whey protein powder and it took me a while to trust those.

I take quite a few. I love them. They have changed my life physically and mentally.
They are simply man made amino acids (proteins) that mimic naturally occurring amino acids that trick the body into doing a natural thing. Like a GLP1 is an amino acids that binds to the hypothalamus and simulates you being full. Or not hungry.
Tesamorelin binds to sensors in the pituitary gland to stimulate to secrete growth hormone.
There’s a bunch of them. They’ve been around for ages long time. The first GLP1 was tested in humans in 1987 I think.
If you have anymore questions shoot me a PM.

I am 44. I started taking exercise seriously about 3 months ago and have been taking the peptides mentioned about 3 weeks. The bpc/tb I took last year.

If you have anymore questions shoot me a PM. Not to derail the thread, but isn’t that what the MRNA vaccines do? Mimic the protein? My daughter says everyone in college is on them. Have you had any problems? I’m thinking seriously about it. Need to shed about 30 pounds

just another chemical in your body pushed by the big pharma Just the opposite...Big pharma is fighting AGAINST peptides. Peptides (mainly the GLP-1s) are putting a hurt on the big pharma makers of Mounjaro, Ozempic, etc

What are the long term true side effects? They are not all the same so there are very different side affects. You have to be educated in the dosing protocols and side affects. Most are not taken every day or for a long duration. Some receptors can get “immune” to them so to speak and they stop working. So you have to understand how long you can take them and when you need to take a break. Each one is different so I recommend you educate yourself on them extensively before using them. All the ones I use are research grade and I get them through the gray market in China. Almost all the peptides in the world come from 4 factories in China.

Need to shed about 30 pounds I'd recommend Retatrutide Reta is a very good one. As soon as the FDA approves it there will be a lot of lives changed by it. It has a ton of positive affects.

I am 44. I started taking exercise seriously about 3 months ago and have been taking the peptides mentioned about 3 weeks. The bpc/tb I took last year. I started lifting again after losing 30lbs on reta. I take a couple of GHG secretagogues now that I’ve started lifting. I have never put on muscle mass so quick. Even when I was lifting in college. I feel like I am 20 years longer. Adding TRT is a key element as well if your T is low and you can’t get it up naturally. Mots C is a great one as well.

It seems to mimic your natural GH secretion pulse a little better? I take Tesamorelin and ipamorelin for HGH so I’ve never used CJC.
