I have an idea to build a pen to flight condition some quail with a batting cage. Gonna bury a chain link fence around it to exclude the digging critters out. Other than that, my only other idea was to charge another fence around that.
Any of yall have any ideas?
Not a bad idea
Mine was smaller but I had hanging sticks all around for them to fly up to and back down. The pheasants rooster on them and liked trying to look out. The quail not so much. I had a black visual barrier all around the one to keep predators from seeing the birds. That’s how I saw other large scale operations keep their birds. Mine was only 4-5 ft high. Those were 8-10 ft high.
