Iam pro statin, doctors don’t make money on a 5 dollar drug, sure there’re bad but so is heart bypass, if you’re big with high cholesterol and old then you better pick your poison
Statins improve 5 year survival rate by 1% over not ever taking the medication. I've never heard a doctor tell the truth about that number but that's because they probably don't even know it. Are the mile long list of side effects worth the 1%? That drug has so much bad science and manipulated research behind it I'd personally be looking into how the drug trials and research was done before I'd trust the drug dealing doctors to know what they are pushing.
