Yup it seems like there is substantial gambling involved and getting lucky.
Finding a well sorted low mileage 5.7 Tundra would be solid but downside to them is expect 13MPG on a good day.

Yeah from what he told me he services a lot of those with 150-250k miles. He said they’re very reliable and pull the trigger if you find one.
