I would have someone find the leak. If it's truly in the indoor coil, I would install a new coil & let it ride. You can still buy 410 coils. Definitely stick with gas heat regardless.



Of course, that's coming from the HVAC guy who has a 20yr old R-22 unit in his house....

I curious Matt, in all the time the Taccones called for servicing, did any of them tell you it is illegal to put more freon in if they suspect a leak until they get the leak fixed? That is the story I always got.
