I was hoping they had a naturally aspirated V6, but I think they are only available in the turbo 4 banger. I think the Nissan Frontier is the only mid-sized truck available with an NA V6 in it. Sadly, yes. Prices are why I went with the mid size Colorado. And I love it BTW. Those Nissans are not bad rides or least 14 years ago lol. I’m in the same boat and kinda lingering cause right now now form what I’m seeing all of them eat having issues. My 2018 Ram with the 3.6 V6 in it has been the best truck I have ever owned. Only 2 things have gone wrong with it in 105k miles. The main screen, which I documented fixing myself on here, and the oil filter housing cracked, whish is super common on the Pentastar V6 and I had a mechanic shop replace that for $600. We replaced the factory plastic part with an all aluminum aftermarket piece. Not other problems since then. That truck has great power 305 horses and 3:55 gears so it gets on down the road pretty quickly. 7 seconds 0-60. I timed it. It will also tow 7400 pounds. It gets great fuel economy. We average about 22 mpg running back and forth from the cabin to the beach house at about 80 mph on the interstate. Plus is super comfortable for road trips. Boho prefers taking trips in the truck to taking her top of the line Mazda CX-5. So at this time I have a hard time thinking of selling it and buying something less capable, smaller and probably no better fuel economy, and certainly more complicated, just because it looks newer and better looking. Which would be a new GMC Canyon or better yet a new Nissan Frontier, but I don't think I would gain anything over my truck by getting one of those other than a slightly smaller truck and a much smaller savings account.
