I bought a boat back in May. The salesman kept insisting that I finance it. So out of curiosity I asked 2 questions. What would be the rate assuming I had excellent credit and for how long did they want to finance it for. If you ask them directly those two questions, it's not always easy to get a direct answer. They really are more interested in telling you that your payments will only be $XXX.XX. When he finally answered, it was just under 7% which isn't real bad, but the minimum time they would finance was 10 years, and up to 20 years. Noooo Thank-you!

This is about the time we started dumping money into stupid wars and then importing those we were at war with and paying for them to live here while we allowed our industries to be sent to all the low IQ countries.

We had about a $400 a month house payment back then. Two shitty used cars. Two kids. And we literally ate Beans, rice, cornbread, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, Hamburger Helper and cereal. Things like Spaghetti, tacos, burgers and dogs, and Heaven forbid, steaks or a roasted whole chicken was a special meal.
