How do they get almost double caffeine from a dark roast? Generally dark roast has less caffeine (big flavor, though),.lost in the roasting process. I’m a light roast fan for the caffeine content and this sounds counterintuitive, unless it has been fortified (or from coffee beans that start out on the dynamite end of the caffeine content scale). They add artificial caffeine oil to the final product.
