One of the first steps toward the downfall of this country, was the invention of the 40hr work week. You put a cap on how much you work, you put a cap on how much you can make. Cant buy a truck with your 40 hour pay check, get another job and work 80! Henry Ford is largely held responsible for the 40 hour work week.
