I got the grouper bayou and so did step son - wife got blackened grouper. Twice bake and salad came w it w good cornbread bites! We do too! Went to Jesses on bay tonight for first time and it was good but lagnappi is better I don't know about that... Hard to beat Jessies on the Bay. Didn't know you were down in our neck of the woods. We're not down there right now anyway. We're up on the mountain for a few more days.

Are they’re several locations. There was one around Grayton beach 20 years ago or so

Just seeing message Carter - yes - at least 2 locations - one is in Destin and one orange beach
We never see the owners or try too - but my wife was once best friends with the sister to the owners wife - she was from Tville area.
We ended up eating there twice this trip - just best place we found over 25-30 years and a lot of trying. I did not know who the owner was until I married my wife - I had already been going there about 15-20 years
Seems like there is a Baton Rouge one also

If anybody goes here - try the bayou grouper and we always select the twice bake. Salad has always been common - but we don’t go for the salad. Key lime - choc peanut butter pie very good and cheese cake not far behind.
They use to have a dish called Grouper Kevin - fav all time dish I had over anywhere else. Trying to get them to bring it back - probably w no luck
