Read somewhere that Flock has ties with several doorbell companies cameras. So they’re gathering information not just from Flock cameras. If you’re on any digital device your information is being gathered and assimilated for whatever purposes. Your phone is talking to your car, your puter, your work puter, your credit/debit card I’m pretty certain your bank and your debt ratio. Your purchasing habitats etc……
Welcome to the digital age. They cancelled their discussed collaboration with Ring; though Ring users can volunteer access to their content to local law enforcement.

Well, it may not do one bit of good, but I bought 4 anti-flock tag covers and installed them today. They may track me, but I'm not gonna make it easy on them if the cops see them or pull you over; they will make you remove them or ticket of $25-100 Clear covers, no way to know they aren't just a plain cover. And Fug em. There's no law says I have to let cameras track me. They can kiss my ass.
Character is not developed in moments of temptation and trial. That is when it is intended to be used.

I got pulled over years ago(pre-flock); the vehicle I bought had tag frame with clear covers to keep the tag clean(I thought) . Never thought anything about it. I was instructed to remove them; now. Any cover is illegal. Cops can't read them at night, I think.

Been law in Alabama long before Flock cameras; I was pulled over at least 15; maybe 20 years ago. I think because they interfere with the reflective design of the tag at night.

The system upgraded to continuous live streams in 2023, real-time pedestrian tracking in 2024, and automated drone deployment in 2025. Supposedly there are between 80,000 and 100,000 in operation in the US

Axon is pushing Flock out of the surveillance business. They are the far more dangerous company. Mass surveillance of the general population should be a crime and we really need constitutional protections against it.

They have slow walked us into this for years, and the flock is coming home to roost now.

Supposedly there are between 80,000 and 100,000 in operation in the US According to Deflock, there’s 123,000 cameras I personally know of several in my local area that aren’t marked so the actual national number is likely 125,000-130,000 nationwide right now. But that is all brands of ALPR’s not just Flock I believe

Somebody posted on local "Nextdoor" (take it for what it's worth) that there are 36 Flocks in lil ol' Starkpatch Miss'ippi. It doesn't surprise me that they're here, as much as there are only 36 around town. It may be the "watch" cameras set up all over with the red/blue flashing lights on them, they're talking about. PD and mayor say they are ONLY to be used in case of wrecks in question of fault, questions in investigations on incidents that occurred in the area, etc....not "speeding" or "red light" or "watching you" cameras. Sure, sure, sure....
