Since my last post her BRCA gene tests have come back negative, she’s met with the surgeon in Fairhope, and we’ve learned the cancer is 7mm (about the size of an eraser on top of a number two pencil), stage 1, grade 1, hormone positive, HER2 negative, and the doctor strongly feels that a lumpectomy followed by radiation (withOUT chemo) will be all that is needed— which she will schedule in the next 2 to 3 weeks.
Every bit of this was exactly what we’ve been praying for.
