Pretty much everyone in D.C. keeps one for their eventual day in court, before Congress and for their book deals. Men, women, doesn't matter. Pretty much everyone does.

It's one reason that when someone does get in trouble - Bolton, for example - the subpoenas include something to the effect of "all notes, diaries, files, texts, messages, diaries" and on and on. They cover anything that someone might have personally so they can pick it apart for the dog-and-pony shows in hearings or court.

The ones who don't are the ones to watch out for. They're smart enough, and probably criminal enough, to not leave paper trails or keep incriminating stuff.

The hearing tomorrow should be good TV; Rand Paul , Ron Johnson, et al ripping him a new one. And; the Dems proclaiming him a national hero. Though, Fetterman is on the Dem side of the committee?

Do I remember correctly that he can't take the 5th? Of course, he'll have memory problems.

Dr. Anthony Fauci can theoretically invoke the Fifth Amendment during a congressional hearing, but legal experts note that the broad federal pardon he received removes his protection against self-incrimination for federal crimes, meaning he cannot claim a risk of federal jeopardy to refuse answers.
Legal Context of the Fifth Amendment and Pardons
General Right: Witnesses subpoenaed by Congress generally have a constitutional right to invoke the Fifth Amendment privilege against self-incrimination.
Impact of a Pardon: Because a federal pardon eliminates future legal jeopardy and criminal liability for covered federal offenses, a recipient can no longer legally claim self-incrimination regarding those federal acts.
Testifying Under Oath: With the federal risk removed by the pardon, refusing to answer questions or lying under oath can expose a witness to separate legal consequences like contempt or perjury charges

I thought that because he has been pardoned, he cannot invoke the Fifth Amendment

I just don't understand anything about the government anymore, I really don't.

The only one they want prosecuted is President Trump.

If you think Trump can't be bought/manipulated, you're fooling yourself. Maybe not with money, but it's already been proven he can be manipulated by asskissing. That man needs his ego stroked like you and I need air to breathe.

It is by design, it is to rub our faces in it and eventually everyone is desensitized and don’t care anymore about any elite crimes

Except his DOJ , under his direction, has refused to prosecute, or even investigate, anyone involved with Epstein, known election fraud, big pharma's part in the covid debacle, and he refused to challenge the auto pen and allowed the time limits to expire on doing anything about Fauci's crimes. If he's not compromised he's doing a great job playing the part.
