Both gas and charcoal have their purposes. I prefer charcoal for flavor but not practical in S FL in summer where it rains almost every day. I basically use gas grill under covered patio most because it’s quick for burgers, steak, chicken breasts, hot dogs or sausage. I’ll run charcoal more at camp where I’m not in a rush and pressed for time.
