Walking around Publix yesterday, and saw it. Haven't had it in years. Grabbed a tub and made me a sammich when I got home. Done forgot how good that stuff is. Sliced mater makes it even better.

The wife unit strolled thru at publix last week and done the same thing, only she bought one tub with jalepeno's for her and me a regular tub...Had a smoked bologna, egg, and pimento cheese sandwich that was the bomb...

Don’t laugh, “ birdies “ (the chicken salad place) has some great pimento cheese, and their southern chicken salad is good too!
I like to make it, but it’s too easy just to grab some if I’m in Northport.

The best I've ever had is made by an old baseball teammate's wife. She puts just enough jalapeno in it to give it some flavor but it isn't hot, at least not to me. She calls it Kim's Kickin Pimento Cheese. If in the Selma area and have a hankering she stocks it in Dave's Market and Mark's Mart. I don't know if the Mark's in Northport has it or not. At one time I know the Renfro's in Montgomery carried it. Anyways, it's the real deal made in her kitchen. I've been known to make a meal out of it and Ritz Crackers.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

It ain't hard to make.
Just know that if the recipe doesn't call out Duke's mayonnaise, it ain't a good recipe.
And fresh grated cheese, not that bagged crap full of sawdust.
Real secret is smoked paprika, not plain.

My Grandmother used to make it using freshly grated Colby cheese. Spread it thickly on a piece of bread and put it in a toaster oven with a slice of pineapple on top until the cheese melted. It was GOOD!

Spiral slice a Nathan’s hot dog and put it in the air fryer until it splits open and edges get crispy. Then toast the bun, smear some pimento cheese on it while warm and add your dog. I like the Palmetto Jalepeno Pimento Cheese.

We use to stop at Bojangles on the way to work and get the spicy chicken biscuit with pimento cheese...it was melted just enough and was delicious
