The patrol is noticeably heavier than the ranch. May not be a deal but I went with the ranch. That 338 looked great till I saw ammo price. I backed away. I have a patrol 308 win and it is heavier than the Ranch for sure. I almost went with the ranch for the muzzle brake for muzzle protection.
