I topped it with a VX3 in 2.5-8x36 like you did. It's a fine shooting rig with handloads running Berger VLD-H and IMR4064.

I love Mannlicher stocked rifles, just got to tinker with them to make sure they shoot. The thin barrel contour is sensitive to heat, as well as applied pressure. Good luck with your new rig, let us know how it shoots.
