Took me about 2 hours to get it all done and I was exhausted. I poured a bottle of cold bottled water over my head and neck to cool down.

I couldn't have done anymore if I wanted to. Damn near heat exhaustion.

I have mild COPD from more than 30 years of two packs a day and been quit since oct of 2017. My buddy that died from lung cancer, his last words to me, you better hope you quit soon enough. I didn’t.

Well anyways like it said mild

Today’s humidity at the farm made me realize otherwise. Downright miserable and that was in the shade for the most part.

Thought about weed eating when I got home. Still thinking about it

I cut grass this afternoon just because I didn’t want to have to do it after work this week. Took me about 40 min and that was all I wanted. Just awful.

I had forgotten about mine but those cooling towels work really good if you have 3 or 4 to keep rotating them in an ice chest or other means of chilling them. I don't remember where mine are but I'll be looking tomorrow for sure.

You are correct, Sir.

I do get out and do some small jobs 7:00 till dark. I have tall trees and a mountain to the West so I'm in the shade late in the day. 10A-7P is inside watching old westerns .

Right now I start sweating before 0700 and don’t stop till I get home around 2000hrs. It’s extremely hot in those old 18 wheelers with no A/C. It’s so hot in them it actually feels like your walk into an air conditioned room when you get out of them at the field or drying facility. And then throw having to repair or replace a blown out tire and it really gets miserable. I’m really thinking of retiring from helping with farming also. If sweating cleans your pores then mine should be as clean as a brand new shiny penny.

He would definitely need to invest in some industrial quality sunscreen.

Well, maybe you shouldn’t have checked him so thoroughly. Lol.

Outback was there. He can attest that it wasn't thorough and was a complete ambush on Piper's part.

Just spent $1,500 on a new TXV. System was fine except on really hot days, then the house temp would creep up. I need to install some solar powered exhaust fans in place of those turbine things.

Just finished changing out another blown out 18 wheeler tire. My socks are soaked again. Damn I’m ready to go back to work Thursday.
