From what I’m reading there are different ethnic groups that are beginning to fight back against the IRGC effectively making them fight on several different fronts and now that some of the Arab states are joining in the fray coupled with the continuing strikes by the US the IRGC may be overthrown soon
I might be misunderstanding your post; but Iran is 99% Muslim. 90–95% shia, 5-10% sunni. Iran is the world's largest shia-majority country.

Many of those counted as Muslim are not in the least
They profess to be because it saves their lives
